“There’s no doubt about it – nonfiction is easier to sell in today’s market.”
- Jeff Kleinman, Folio Literary Management
If that’s true, than why do so many conferences seem to shy away from nonfiction?
The Backspace Agent-Author Seminar aims to provide education and opportunity for fiction and nonfiction writers alike.
Through our unique small-group workshops nonfiction writers can connect with literary agents who represent just about every variety of nonfiction work.
Every year we ask each attending literary agent to list their top four genres/categories of interest, and every year three out of four agents tell us they want to see more nonfiction!
