The 2008 Backspace Writers Conference will be held at The Radisson Martinique (32nd and Broadway), in New York City.

The conference rate for sleeping rooms is $249 per night, plus applicable taxes.

Rate is based on a two-person occupancy. When you call to book your reservations, you will have a choice of a King, Queen or two Double bedded room (the rate is valid for all three types), either smoking or non-smoking. There will be additional charges if there are more than two people per room. Example: triple occupancy $269, quad occupancy $289 plus taxes per night. There are two different upgrades you can make: an executive room for additional $50 per night, or you can choose to be in a suite at an additional $100 per night. Both upgrades include access to the Radisson's executive lounge.

Conference rates are valid for the nights of August 6, 7, 8, & 9 only.

Please note: You must call the hotel directly to get the conference rate: (212) 736-3800 and be sure to ask for "in house reservations." If their reservations system is busy, your call might get transferred to their 1-800 reservation system which can't supply the conference rate, so again, be sure to verify that you're talking to someone at the hotel. Alternatively, if you are unable to connect with in-house reservations, you may call the sales department at the Radisson at (212) 277-2655 and they'll make the reservation for you.
