richard krevolinTo achieve a deeper level of mastery of storytelling, many CEO’s, Fortune 100 companies and international law firms have recently started turning to veteran teacher, author and professional storyteller, Prof. Richard Krevolin.

Over the past decade, several major international corporations have flown Prof. Krevolin around the world to teach the art of storytelling to their executives. Some of these companies include J. Walter Thompson, Tata Interactive Software, Pond’s Skin Care, Sunsilk Shampoo, Lux Soap, Nike Sports. He has also worked with various top-tier corporate in-house and outside counsel on strategic communication and trial themes for major litigation cases.

A graduate of Yale University, Richard went on to earn a master’s degree in screenwriting at UCLA’s School of Cinema-Television, and a master’s degree in playwriting and fiction from USC. For 15 years, Richard has taught both undergraduate and graduate writing classes at USC Cinema/TV School as well as UCLA Film School, Ithaca and Pepperdine. Under his guidance, his students have sold film scripts and TV shows to Universal, Sony-Tri-Star, Paramount, Dreamworks SKG and numerous other studios and production companies.

Krevolin is the author of the books, Screenwriting From The Soul (Renaissance/St. Martins Press), Pilot Your Life (Prentice-Hall/Emmis Books) and How To Adapt Anything Into A Screenplay (John Wiley & Sons). He also has several screenplays under option and in development with various Hollywood production companies. His stage plays have been performed in Los Angeles, Off-Broadway, around the US and across the globe. Krevolin has been a panelist and keynote speaker at a variety of popular writers conference, including the Maui Writers Conference, The Santa Fe Screenwriters Conference, the Hollywood Film Festival, The Surrey Writer’s Conference, and The Hollywood Film School in Kiev, Ukraine.

Recently, Prof. Krevolin co-authored the book, The Transcript: A Story About Reclaiming the Potential of Your Business By Using the Three Step MAPP Process. His consulting work has affected hundreds of TV commercials produced all over the world, many of which have won awards including a Golden Lion at Cannes and The People Choice Award in China.
